ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate for admission to MBBS course in Govt./Govt. Aided Medical and Private Medical College will be eligible if:

  1. He/she is a citizen of India.
  2. The candidates, who are bonafide residents of Haryana as per instructions issued by the Chief Secretary to Govt. Haryana and who/whose parents produce(s) Haryana Residence Certificate as per Government instructions given or any modification issued by the competent authority from time to time.
  3. For Management Category, candidates from all over India shall be eligible, irrespective of their State of domicile and place of study.
  4. All candidates (General/SC/SC(Deprived)/BC-A/BC-B/Benchmark disabilities/EWS/ESM/FF) desirous of seeking admissions in any Category of seats should fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria/qualifications/qualifying criteria as prescribed in the information bulletin for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) issued by NTA for the Academic year 2024-25 and as per regulations of National Medical Commission issued from time to time. No candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum eligibility criteria (as specified in NEET UG-2024 Information bulletin of NMC) shall be eligible for admission to MBBS course.

NRI ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate for admission to MBBS course in Govt./Govt. Aided Medical and Private Medical College will be eligible for NRI Category:

  • All admission under NRI Category seats shall be as per merit of NEET-2024. The procedure for admission to NRI quota seat shall be as under:
  • Only NEET qualified candidates shall be eligible under the NRI category. All admission under NRI category seats shall be as per merit of NEET.
  • PIOs/OCIs and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified can also apply under the NRI category. The preference for admission under NRI category shall be considered as under:
  • Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana.
  • Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State.
  • Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
  • Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
  • Real brother and sister of the candidate.
  • If the first-degree relation of the student is NRI and residing abroad and the candidate fulfills the following conditions:
  • He should be the nearest relation.
  • In the definition of nearest relation, candidate having the following blood relations:
  • Real brother and sister of father i.e. real uncle and real aunt.
  • Real brother and sister of mother i.e. real maternal uncle and maternal aunt.
  • Father and mother of father i.e. grandfather and grandmother.
  • Father and mother of mother i.e. maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother.
  • First-degree paternal and maternal cousins.
  • Such person should be NRI.
  • Such persons should ordinarily be residing abroad.
  • Such person should have looked after such student as the guardian of the student and evidence to that effect must have been produced by such person.
  • Foreign Nationals shall be considered for admission under NRI quota after exhausting the list of NRIs/ PIOs/OCIs.
