• Programme for Inauguration of Blood Bank on 5th July, 2016 at Blood Bank, Timings: 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM
• CME on blood donation: a noble cause : Public awareness was organized under the chairmanship of by the deptt. of Pathology on 05/07/2016 along with the inauguration of blood bank and blood donation camp.
• The activities that took place included increasing awareness about blood donation among the people and included explaining the benefits of blood donation, explaining and awaring various queries and allaying community and explaining about various misbelieves regarding blood donation. The efforts were directed about familiar and ring general public about blood donations and amour aging them to become voluntary blood donors.

A CME was organized on 05.07.2016 in GLT No.1 of WCMSRH on the subject of “Blood Donation- A Noble Cause” by the department of Pathology under the able guidance of Dr. Usha Rusia. On this occasion, a blood donation camp was also organized in the blood bank of Maharaja Surajmal Hospital of WCMSRH.

Hon’ble Chairman Dr. Narendra Singh along with all the faculty & staff members were graced the occasion by their valuable presence and participation in the deliberation.

Dr. Indu Khurana, Dean and professor Physiology, WCMSRH and Dr. A.K.Khurana, Professor Ophthalmology has written a very descriptive and illustrated book on the subject “Anatomy and Physiology of Eye” .

The book was being released by our Hon’ble Chairman, Dr. Narendra Singh and Dr. (Mrs.) Reetu Singh in GLT No.1 on The Teachers Day i.e. 05.09.2016

The event was attended by all the faculty and staff of World College of Medical Sciences Research & Hospital
