The  vision  of  Department  of  Ophthalmology  is  to  bring  the  rate  of  blindness  in  the catchment area by providing latest and affordable eye care facility.

Mission:

1. Toprovide the best possible and affordable eye care with the latest technology available in the Department of Ophthalmology.
2. Totrain the budding ophthalmologist who are committed to provide the  height quality and affordable treatment in a patient friendly environment.
    

Facilities:

The  Department of Ophthalmology  has following facilities to accomplish the vision & mission of the  Department of Ophthalmology at World College of Medical Sciences & Research and Hospital, Gurawar, Jhajjar;

In addition to the routine OPD check up for eye care problems, the Department provides the following specialty services:

Note:  Majority  of  the   patients  admitted  for   Phaco  and  other  Surgeries  are   being discharged on the same day.
 

Community Services:

The   Department  is  also  providing  services  to  the  needy  at  their  door  steps   by organizing community outreach eye camps in the rural areas and school health checkup camps every fortnight. The screening of children in the school health is being done for early   detection   of   lazy   eye    (Amblyopia),   refractive   errors    and   squint,   thereby preventing blindness in the children.
