About the Department

The department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care is located on the second floor of the hospital building inside the OT complex and focuses on providing comprehensive medical care to patients before, during, and after surgery, including managing critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), specializing in pain management, airway management, and maintaining vital functions throughout the surgical process; essentially acting as the backbone of surgical operations by ensuring patient stability during procedure.

  • Providing anaesthesia 24/7 in elective and emergency operative cases in 11 Operation theatres like General Surgery, Orthopaedic, Obstetric & Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology.
  • Pre- Operative anaesthesia clinic all days of week.
  • Pain management services providing pain clinic all days of week.
  • Resuscitation facility in all area of hospital as well as required. Code blue is ready 24/7 for that.
  • Monitored anaesthesia care.
  • Providing Anesthesia for super specialities like Oncosurgery, Gastroenterological surgeries, Urological surgeries, Trauma and joint replacement surgeries and endoscopic procedures.
  • Intensive care for critical patients and post operative care inclusive of ventilator support.
